About Us

Canal Street Oysters is a grand American oyster bar located at the corner of Canal Street and West Broadway where SoHo meets Tribeca and serves an extensive raw bar and full menu of seafood-focused food and drink. Anthony and Tom Martignetti, known for their boisterous meeting spots such as The East Pole, The East Pole Fish Bar, Pizza Beach and Brinkley’s, teamed up with chef Charlene Santiago (The John Dory Oyster Bar, Reynard) to create Canal Street Oysters to fill a void that they themselves felt: a grand American oyster bar — perfect for after-work drinks, a sea-sourced dinner or later evening bite and revelry — for the next generation.
